The CoastalMistertm is a fully automated misting system installed at your home by placing overhead nozzles and/or nozzles on landscape risers in the areas where mosquitoes may rest. Analog or digital timers are programmed to release EPA-approved materials at preset times, typically twice a day for 20 seconds. The system is typically programmed to mist at 1:00am and 5:00am when mosquitoes are most likely resting and hiding. Mosquitoes are killed on contact and the population is reduced throughout the day. The system also has an on-demand feature so homeowners can mist an entire area for parties or other functions. Designed and developed by some of the country's most respected entomologists and pest management professionals, the CoastalMistertm Automatic Mosquito Misting System consists of a 30- or 55-gallon drum reservoir with a pump, a 1/2-HP electric motor and control panel mounted on top. Through nylon tubing and precision nozzles, a fine mist of exactly measured insecticide is delivered to create a "protection zone" against mosquitoes. |
